We are delighted to announce the launch of a research project titled: ‘Just Transition: A New Framework for Responsible Extraction of Energy Transition Metals for the Renewable Energy Sector’. The project is funded by The British Academy and brings together researchers from the University of St Andrews’ Centre for Energy Ethics and the University of Queensland’s Sustainable Minerals Institute to explore how the concept of a just transition could provide a new framework for responsible extraction of energy transition metals in the Pacific Islands region.
